Students and their families are invited to connect with teachers, staff, and administrators of Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit’s Special Education schools later in September when open houses are held at New Horizon School and New Horizon North.
New Horizon School, now open for classes following its move to the former Midland Innovation and Technology Charter School, will hold its open house over two days. Specific communication has already been sent home for each student for which day to attend:
• 1st Floor Students (MDS Classrooms) and their families: Wednesday, September 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
• 2nd Floor Students (Life Skills & Emotional Support Classrooms) and their families: Thursday, September 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Students and their families are welcome to tour New Horizon’s new space at the former Midland Innovation and Technology Charter School, located at 7 South 12th Street, Midland, PA 15059. The move was made possible in part due in large part to the generosity and cooperation of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center.
New Horizon North students and their families are invited to join teachers, staff, and administrators on Wednesday, September 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The school is situated inside the complex located at 1745 Frew Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16101.
